“Get some perspective & Escape…”; that is what the web-site says about the vantage viewing point in the dense & lush Mount Dandenong ranges. Our navigator decided to throw us another challenge on the way, by deciding to take us through the “Fastest Route” to the “Top”. Which was nothing short of a winding ledge! We were about half the way up, when we realized how precarious the “road” (if I could call it that) was.
I mean giving way to an oncoming kangaroo was impossible forget a vehicle.
But once up at the terrace, the views were magnificent. Here are some pictures along the way;
A view at the pass that connected the “ledge” with the proper Dandenong Tourist Highway! Boy , were we glad to make it out of there in one piece.
Back on the trail again for the last leg of the journey. SkyHigh finally! It was a lovely sunny day and that brought along the fair share of tourists and visitors as well.
All in all a great day out, although cut short by an emergency. A good test run for the new camera and a welcome break from the regular grind! I leave you all a shot of me and my “ride”… Yeah, Sanju not much of brute torque, but all character…
