The week started with a very concerted attempt by the rental property agent vehemently reference checking. And that calling spree culminated with a call to me confirming that we’ve been approved and allocated the house we had inspected before. We were to shift on a very short notice within the week. Everyone kept saying to enjoy the shift, and we’ve been really trying. I mean, really trying to do the same over the past two days.
Its a three bedroom house, with nice views overlooking the back and front yard. A nice spa-bath & toilet with an open kitchen plan. The house primarily has timber panel flooring throughout the house with vinyl tiles in the kitchen and stone for the laundry. Managed to start the heating (with major dramas) and the water heating, which are both gas operated. It does have a nice, recently robbed feel to it with the sparse (or should that be, empty) furniture around. Got a couple of folding chairs from IKEA, which would hopefully double up as garden furniture later on. And a bed from Forty Winks. We love the bed, its truly sheer bliss, landing there these past few days.
