“Have you ever wondered how many megapixels our eyes are capable of?”
An interesting read from Baekdal.com on the megapixel equivalent of the human eye. Guess what, we can see a details of 576 megapixels!

And thats, according to Mr Baekdal, 30 times better than a HDTV and similar to running a computer screen at resolutions of 32,000 x 18,000… whew! Amazing, eh?!

Both are pretty interesting research articles. Clarkvision – Notes on resolution and other details of the human eye deals with all the nitty gritty on the human eye with an almost comparitive analysis with the digital camera. And AMO – Human Eye Frames Per Second talks about the FPS capabilities of the eye. Nice and in-depth.

This is the difference between a God creation and Human creation .. we reached to double digit MP .. but God is playing with such exquisitely high mega pixel bio-organic lenses….. no wonder they would reach giga pixel sooner then us!!!
Hmm… Isn’t that something?
