I might just be a little late to start on the VOIP bandwagon, but man isn’t it just amazing! Since coming to Melbourne, I can’t remember how many times I’ve cringed at going out and buying these $10 calling cards that have never lived up to their promises of their minutes. And don’t even get me started on the voice lags! I have no idea how long its been that I have skype installed on my pc. Its only now (yeah silly me…) that I’ve realised how ingenius this application truly is. And now with broadband not being the exotic thing it once was, the possibilities are just too cool. Any and every buddy of mine reading this better download this app now! And buzz me! (Headphone & Microphone are very ESSENTIAL here :p)
Another cool site I’ve come across in the midst of this semesters research data-hunting is the Yahoo! Research Mindset site. Almost as cool as the Google Research site. Happy hunting and cheers!
